Raphael Saadiq dropped a song entitled It’s a Shame, a cover of a popular Motown single by The Spinners, on Levi’s Pioneer Sessions. If you aren’t familiar with Levi’s Pioneer Sessions it’s a musical project in which new artists and groups cover classics. All are available for download on the website, including a cover of Slick Rick’s Hey Young World by Nas. This particular track sounds a lot like everything Mayer Hawthorne does, check it.
