Joey Bada$$ has been the focus of many lenses lately. Another New York spitter with a dope hook that hits hard. Joey just dropped his newest mixtape 1999, which is a must hear. Weird thing is, he’s only 17 and I certainly wouldn’t have guessed. Also, gotta give it up to Lewis Parker, who does a fantastic job on the boards creating a chilled out boom bap sound that knocks. Can’t help, but replay this one.
