Very rarely do I hear a song in the top 10 of the Hot 100 that I instantly love, but Gotye really impressed me (and looks like impressed the rest of the world) with their new single they performed on SNL this past Saturday.  Haven’t really explored the rest of their record too much but this song seems to be a good indicator of a solid career from Gotye.

Hoodie just dropped off his new video for “No Faith In Brooklyn” which is off his EP “All American” which has quickly risen to #1 on the iTunes album charts.  Congrats to Hoodie and his team for how long they’ve come since their first post on Hold My Coat in June of 2010, we’ve probably had little to no influence on that rise but I don’t care ima take some credit.  With that being said buy his new EP on iTunes here!

This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for from Hoodie, completely original track with his usual on point lyricism, great hook (his voice has gotten great), and a super catchy beat.  This is the right step into a long and successful career for Hoodie and I can’t wait to watch his fanbase grow even bigger than it has gotten in the last few years.
