It’s been a little while, but Blu is back with a brand new video for his title track off of his latest project. I have to say, it doesn’t get much better than a Blu and Madlib collaboration. To me, this is the epitome of straight up raw hip-hop. Definitely dig it. Hope you enjoy, as well.

On February 14th, the soundtrack to the film Soundtrack to a Revolution will be released. It features contemporary artists singing traditional Civil Rights-era freedom songs. The Roots perform “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” in this clip, which juxtaposes black-and-white footage of 20th-century Civil Rights protests with color footage of the band performing in a recording studio.

Pretty Lights recently released his first single of the new year with “We Must Go On.” Here he goes back to his roots with the more laid-back, soulful sound.
