I do believe that this will be my new jam. Gigamesh is just a boss at remixing already great tracks by giving them a new vibe, while still keeping the essence of the original track in the mix. Not sure how he does it, but I’m not going to complain one bit. This is a great track to add to your weekend playlist. With that said, turn your speakers up, and enjoy.

On February 14th, the soundtrack to the film Soundtrack to a Revolution will be released. It features contemporary artists singing traditional Civil Rights-era freedom songs. The Roots perform “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” in this clip, which juxtaposes black-and-white footage of 20th-century Civil Rights protests with color footage of the band performing in a recording studio.
